Lexar Media (Fremont, CA) is marketing the new Lexar Professional UDMA 300x 16GB CompactFlash (CF) card to professional photographers and photo enthusiasts who need lightning-fast throughput. The UDMA-enabled (Ultra Direct Memory Access) card features a minimum sustained write speed of 45MB per second, which not only speeds up image capture, it also improves the card-to-computer transfer rate when used with a UDMA-enabled card reader.
