New Gear From Lowepro

Lowepro (Sebastopol, CA, 707-827-4000) is marketing the new Inverse AW Beltpack, an All Weather carrying solution for photographers who want to keep all their gear at arms length. The new beltpack features adjustable compression pulls on the breathable mesh-padded lumbar waist belt, which enables two carrying modes to reduce upper body strain and improve comfort. Its customizable main compartment, accessible through the quick-access lid, holds a pro-style digital SLR camera with attached zoom lens and extra lenses or flash units. Its front compression system has space for cables, adapters, small accessories and personal items, and there’s a locking strap on the underside of the pack for cinching up a tripod. The AW Beltpack is available in two sizes and in black, arctic blue and leaf green. The Inverse 100 AW Belt-pack lists for $79.99, while the Inverse 200 AW lists for $89.99. Lowepro also has redesigned its popular Nova AW series. The new models have a 360° All Weather Cover, which provides access to the main compartment without removing the protective shell. And like AW Beltpacks, they accommodate a pro-style DSLR camera with attached zoom lens and extra lenses or flash units. Nova AW series camera bags are available in black, Bordeaux red, chestnut brown and ultramarine blue.
