Adobe Rolls Out Photoshop Lightroom 2 Beta
Designed for today’s digital photography workflow, Adobe (San Jose, CA, www.adobe.com) Photoshop Lightroom 2 software gives photographers tools that quickly import, process, manage and then showcase their images. Lightroom 2 features batch processing and conversion, easy-to-use selection tools with multiple viewing and comparison options, and the ability to adjust and enhance color, exposure, and tone curves non-destructively on more than 190 camera RAW file formats, as well as JPEG, TIFF and PSD. The improved software also tracks image changes automatically and supports Smart Objects, panorama stitching, HDR and multiple layer workflow. Lightroom 2 Beta, which expires at the end of August 2008, can be downloaded from the company’s website. It runs on the latest Windows and Macintosh computers.
