Baryta Photographic Paper from Canson Infinity
Canson Infinity (South Hadley, MA, 413/538-9250, www.canson-infinity.com) has added 310gsm Baryta photographic paper to its extensive line of digital papers for art and photography. The new substrate is a true Baryta paper that has been developed for inkjet technology and optimized for pigment inks. It consists of an alpha-cellulose, acid-free, pure white paper that has been coated with a layer of Barium Sulfate (the same coating as for traditional silver halide) and a premium inkjet color receiver layer. Baryta Photographic paper complies with the ISO 9706 standard for maximum longevity and is both water-resistant and instant dry. It is available in cut sheets and rolls.
