NANPA Recognizes British Columbia Nature Photographer
The NANPA Foundation (Wheat Ridge, CO, www.nanpafoundation.org) has named Paul Colangelo of Vancouver, British Columbia, winner of the 2010 Philip Hyde Grant. The annual $5000 grant is given to members of the North American Nature Photography Association who are actively pursuing environmentally related photography projects. The award will be presented during the association’s 16th Annual Nature Photography Summit, February 16–21, 2010 in Reno, NV. Colangelo’s project seeks to raise public awareness about the sacred headwaters of the Skeena, Stikine and Nass rivers in northern British Columbia.
